Painter
Enrico Bombieri started playing with watercolors and pencils at an early age. In 1977 he moved from Milan to the United States. In 1982 he began to study painting and life drawing with Mel Leipzig and printmaking with Jack Harris and Joan Needham at Mercer County Community College. Enrico enjoys painting people, animals, and landscapes. His paintings are sometimes surreal or intentionally ambiguous. He especially likes to do portraits on commission. Enrico Bombieri’s profession is mathematical research, which is very abstract. Perhaps, because of that, his art is figurative.
