Potter, Photographer
Karen CyBulski together with Anne Ciemnecki occupy the Underground Pottery. Both Karen and Anne are nationally acclaimed health policy researchers who create pottery to exercise the other side of their brains. They believe that everyday objects should be useful and beautiful. Their work is inspired by vibrant colors of the Caribbean. Karen and Anne studied with Dee Higgens, formerly of Mill Stream Pottery in Allentown. They enjoy bringing their art into the community and have recently demonstrated wheel throwing at the Middlesex County Agricultural Fair and the Hightstown Harvest Festival. The proceeds of all Underground Pottery Sales support Seer Farms, an alternative animal shelter that keep animals safe while their people are in crisis. In addition to ceramic creation, you can also see Karen’s underwater photographs at Underground Pottery.
