Artist, Printmaker
Ingrid Davis’s fascination with printmaking began with a course in etching and continues with her great love for the white-line woodcut technique, which she now practices almost exclusively. Her early art training was as a painter. She received her art education at the Art Students League, the Brooklyn Museum School of Art, and the School of Visual Arts, all in New York. Her work has been shown at juried and invitational shows in the US, Europe and the Far East. She is affiliated with the Art League (Alexandria, VA), Antic and Design Gallery (Dresden, Germany), Merrimon Gallery (Asheville, NC), and Hudson Artists Association (Jersey City). She also conducts workshops.
